Linda A. Alley has been committed to upholding the integrity of the practice of law for almost 22 years. She has earned a reputation for being an intelligent, honest, creative and hard-working lawyer. She understands the citizens of Broward County and their needs.
Linda A. Alley has lived in South Florida since she was a child. She attended public school in Broward County. She obtained her associates degree from Broward College and her bachelor’s degree from Florida Atlantic University while taking classes primarily at the Davie Campus. Her first full time job was with Southern Bell Telephone Company in Pompano Beach. She worked for them for over 15 years before the government broke up AT & T and she changed direction into the field of law. At that time, she returned to Broward College to take paralegal classes and found a job at a small law office as a legal secretary trainee. After completing her classes, she went to work for Sheldon J. Schlesinger, one of the most well-known lawyers in Broward County. After about 5 years, she was accepted at the University of Florida Levin College of Law where she graduated with honors with her law degree.
During her legal career, Linda A. Alley represented injured people. She spent many hours in courtrooms in hearings and trials. She experienced many types of judges in her practice. She learned the importance of providing the court with the accurate law on the issues under review so as to support the court in making the proper rulings.
Linda A. Alley earned a reputation with the judiciary as being properly prepared and candid when she appeared before them. She has always had the greatest respect for the bench and the history behind our judicial system.
Linda A. Alley has two children, Sarah and Brad. Sarah has been a prosecutor for the Broward County State Attorneys’ Office for over eight years. Brad is an American History middle school teacher in Broward County. She is very proud of them and delighted they chose careers that benefit their community.
